SPACE PBL PRESENTATIONS!

Enjoy looking through the following student group presentations, which we printed from SlideRocket & Edcanvas, on creating their own planet within our solar system. In order to complete this project, each group had to research facts about each body within our solar system to ensure they provided accurate information on their invented planet. I am very proud of the students as working collaboratively can have its challenges and Project Based Learning is a newer concept as it allows students much ownership, independent study and choice, with teacher guidance along the way. I am also impressed that the students learned new presentations tools such as SlideRocket and Edcanvas in order to showcase their invented planet! During and after each presentation, students completed peer and self evaluations and conferenced with me about how they did.  Way to go students!!
